90 days…3 months…a quarter of a year. Whatever you want to call it, we’ve lasted that long. It’s been a great (time period) so far, so let’s recap.
- Replaced a good portion of the sewer line - not so fun.
- Was told I don’t know how to run a business by the pizza distributor sales manager on the day they took my pizza ovens - hurt my feelings.
- Got a scare with the health inspector - frightening.
- Had two parties with the music of Aaron Heim Live - excellent.
- Steak Nite continues to draw in good crowds and has the construction crews buzzing - fantastic.
- We’re starting to get a little bit of buzz in the Juice section of the Des Moines Register - every little thing helps.
Best of all, the support from everyone has been tremendous. Thank you to everyone who has helped out on both sides of the bar. I’ll try to make the next 3 months even better.

Happy Anniversary!!! I’m so excited that things are working out so well! You are doing a great job!
So you mean I can’t get a pizza the next time I come home?
Not a Pasquali’s
The next three months promise a return visit of Ryan Beaman to the 515. You might want to advertise.
I’ll get some flyers printed up right away.
